The Trak-4 is rechargeable with a typical cell phone charger or computer USB-port by using the supplies Micro-USB cable. Q: How long does a battery charge last? A:
Up to 18 months on daily reporting, up to 4 months on hourly reporting, up to 4 weeks on 15-minute reporting, and up to 4 days on 30-sec reporting. Keep in mind that all reporting modes report in the following fashion: Every 24-hours while stationary, when movement begins, when movement ends, when charging begins, when charging stops and every X amount of time while moving (according to your subscription level). Therefore, if an asset doesn’t move very often, even if it has a rapid moving-reporting-frequency, the battery charge will last a very long time, because the asset spends most of its time in stationary deep-sleep mode. If the asset begins moving, it enters rapid-reporting mode. Q: How do I view the tracker’s location? A:
Use the gps.trak-4.com web app on mobile, tablet, or computer to view your asset’s location, manage geozones, and configure email & text alerts. You may view multiple trackers on the same map!
