- Take the nylon guide line that is hooked the belt on the right side across students waist in front to the spotter on the left side. Take the nylon guide line that is hooked to the belt on the left side across students back to the spotter on the right side.
- As the student runs down the mat and does the round-off the guide lines will unwind. When the student lands on both feet facing the opposite direction they will be in position to be spotted for the back handspring.
